This policy explains how the ScanZen app ("ScanZen", "the app") handles information. ScanZen is published by Onegame Global Limited (Rm 409 Beverley Comm Ctr, 87-105 Chatham Rd South, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong). Our general policy for all our products is at onegamestudio.net/privacy.htm; where this page is more specific about ScanZen, this page applies.

1. Your documents stay on your device

Everything you scan, import, edit, sign or recognize as text in ScanZen (photos, PDFs, ID cards, signatures and recognized text) is processed and stored only on your device. We do not upload your documents to our servers, and we have no account system. Text recognition and barcode reading run on your device. Your documents leave your device only when you choose to share or export them (for example by email, a messaging app, printing, or "Send to computer", which sends files directly to a computer on your own Wi-Fi network without any server).

Backup & restore: "Create backup" puts your documents into one file on your device and lets you save it wherever you choose (for example your own cloud drive or computer). We never receive this file. App lock uses your device's own screen lock (fingerprint, face or PIN); ScanZen never sees or stores your biometric data.

Google Drive backup (optional, Android): if you choose Connect Google Drive, ScanZen asks Google for permission to use only the files it creates in your Google Drive (Google permission drive.file). ScanZen uses this permission only to save, update, find and download its own backup file ("ScanZen-backup.zip" in a "ScanZen" folder) so you can restore your documents. It cannot see or change your other Drive files. The backup goes directly from your device to your Google Drive; it never passes through our servers, and we cannot open it. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not let humans read it. You can disconnect in the app at any time and revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions; the backup file stays in your Drive until you delete it. ScanZen's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

2. Permissions

Local network (iOS)	Only for "Send to computer" on the same Wi-Fi.
Notifications	To remind you one day before a free trial ends.
Tracking (iOS, App Tracking Transparency)	Asked by the system before any tracking. You can refuse; the app works the same.
Biometrics (optional)	Only if you turn on App lock; handled entirely by your device.

3. Information collected by our partners

The free version shows ads. How we ask for your choice depends on where you are:

EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland: before any ad or statistics data is used, you are asked through Google's consent tool (a consent management platform certified under the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework). Data is used only as you allow there. You can review or change your choice at any time in Me → Privacy & ads → Manage privacy choices.
Brazil: when the app first opens, it shows your choices for personalized ads and usage statistics. You can turn either off before continuing, or later.
United States and other regions: personalized ads and usage statistics are on by default, as described in this policy. You can turn them off at any time in Me → Privacy & ads, including "Do not sell or share my personal information". In US states with privacy laws, Manage privacy choices also opens Google's opt-out form.

We never send the content of your documents to any partner. We do not sell your documents. Each partner processes data under its own privacy policy.

4. Your choices and rights

Personalized ads and statistics: change at any time in Me → Privacy & ads. When off, you still see ads, but not personalized.
"Do not sell or share my personal information" (California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other US states): switch on in Me → Privacy & ads. You may also ask to know, correct or delete your personal information.
EU / EEA / UK / Switzerland (GDPR): we use ad and statistics data only with your consent, given in Google's consent tool. You may access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, port your data, and withdraw consent at any time.
Brazil (LGPD): we process ad and statistics data based on your choices in the app and our legitimate interest in keeping the app free; you may confirm, access, correct, anonymize, delete or object to processing and revoke consent at any time.
Vietnam and other regions: you may access, correct or delete your personal data and withdraw your choice at any time in the app or by contacting us.
Delete your data: Me → Delete all data removes every document from the app. Uninstalling the app removes all app data from your device. To ask our partners to delete data linked to your advertising ID, reset the advertising ID in your device settings or contact us.
iOS: tracking can be changed in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

Payments are handled by Apple or Google. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your store account settings. The 7-day pass, Lifetime and Remove ads are one-time purchases. During a free trial, ads are still shown; they are removed once the plan is paid (or right away with Remove ads).

6. Children

ScanZen is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

7. Security and retention

Your documents are kept on your device until you delete them. Partner data is kept as described in each partner's policy. Data sent to partners is encrypted in transit.

8. Changes

If we change what the app collects, we will update this page and, where the law requires, ask for your choice again in the app.
